Ben Harrison is a playwright, lyricist and composer who is also an entertainer. What makes his live performances so enjoyable is that, at his core, he is a barroom guitar player/singer/songwriter who somehow manages to blend history, musical theater, Key West and humor into unusual stories that are mostly true. This season he will be performing his songs; some new, some old and some in between at The Key West Theater.

Ben has been a guest on The Howard Stern Show, This American Life, Dr. Demento, The Dick Cavett Show and more. Winner of the Adeline Turner Award for Outstanding Performing Artist, Ben has recorded ten studio albums and four full-length theatre musicals: Undying Love, Key West! A Musical Tour About Town, Clouds Over the Sunshine Inn and El Isleño: The Untold Key West Story, which premiered at The Fringe Theater February, 2023.
He is also the author of four books: Undying Love (a bizarre tale in Key West history), Official Visit (baseball), Sailing Down The Mountain (memoir) and Charlie Jones (a novel, soon to be re-released).
Ben and Helen have lived and raised their two children, Ben and Cole, in Key West, where he and Helen (a renowned sculptor) own Harrison Gallery, which will celebrate its 39th anniversary in 2025.
